Based in Cologne, plusserver gives German companies a data-sovereign, vendor-independent base for their digital business processes. It runs its own secure, scalable cloud platforms and advises customers on cloud architecture and on integrating their existing IT. Its products include an enterprise cloud built on the Sovereign Cloud Stack and Gaia-X standards, a Kubernetes engine and a platform for sovereign AI.
The challenge
- The company did not know the job and talent markets in the countries it was targeting.
- Its own channels, such as website applications and LinkedIn job ads, brought too few qualified candidates.
- It had no in-house recruiting support to source qualified candidates actively.
- The positions had to be filled urgently to support internal operations and growth.
- It was hard to find people with both a strong drive and the relevant experience.
What we did
- We assigned six recruiters straight away who know how to find tech candidates in job markets outside Germany.
- We briefed the recruiters in detail on what plusserver expected from candidates, above all a strong drive and an open mind.
- We set up weekly feedback meetings with the HR business partner and the head of the hiring department, so we could adjust the hiring strategy in good time.
